Anna E. Foley, age 92, Cynthiana, died Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Cedar Ridge Health Campus. Born in Harrison County, September 2, 1924 to the late Willis Blackburn and Bessie Claypool Blackburn. She was a former sales clerk at Clara's Shop and the Style Shop, a receptionist at Dr. Don Kerr's office, a member of Sunrise Christian Church, the Harrison County Woman's Club, Harrison Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and attended Thursday Club. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis H. "Reak" Foley; three brothers, Ambrose Blackburn, Stanley Blackburn and Hickman Blackburn and a sister, Louise Jenkins.
She is survived by a son, Monty N. (Linda) Foley, Maryland; a daughter, Pamela (James) Anthony, Florida; three granddaughters, Steph Zeak, Angela Griffith and Amy Crook and seven great-grandchildren, Nicholas Zeak, Garrett Zeak, Jeffrey Griffith, Daniell Griffith, Heather Griffith, Jacob Crook and Christopher Crook.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday at Ware Funeral Home by Bro. Clifford Neat. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Thursday. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery.
